10 method guides for the commission loop, plus the community references behind them.
Which values to write down, in what order, and how to re-check them later.
Read the guide →Bodice or skirt, grain alignment, and the layout order that avoids wasted cloth.
Read the guide →Trade cost against the attributes a request names, without guessing missing values.
Read the guide →The assembly order, and where to pause and check instead of sewing straight through.
Read the guide →Each guide opens with a one-paragraph answer, then explains the method in order, then names what is still unknown. The distinction matters because the game is new: the loop is confirmed by the store listing, while most of the numbers a player wants are not published anywhere yet.
Where a guide needs a value — a budget, an attribute limit, a material cost — it tells you where to read it and what to write down. It does not supply a number that nobody has checked. That is why the fabric table and the commission index are still empty: they fill up as records are verified, not as pages are written.
A guide cannot settle a value that the game computes. Exact attribute weights, the point at which a quality threshold moves, whether a fabric is restocked after a patch and the real payout of a commission are decided by the build you are running. If a guide, or this site, disagrees with your screen, your screen wins.
Guides also age badly across patches. The status page records dated official announcements, and any guide written before the newest announcement should be read with that in mind. When a method stops working, assume the patch changed it before assuming the guide was wrong.
These three player-written sources are linked, named and dated. They are useful for seeing how a method is performed, and they are never restated here as game rules.

Read the originalA discussion of off-the-rack dresses with an explicitly estimated sale-price formula.
Read the originalA launch-era achievement reference. Walkthrough details stay community-reported until they can be verified.
Read the originalChange one variable at a time. Build the same garment twice with a single difference, note the attribute values the game shows both times, and record what actually moved. Repeat it once more before writing the result down, because a single run can be affected by a material you forgot you swapped.
Then check the claim against the register. The source register lists what has been read and dated, the achievement list records what Steam publishes, and the style checker tests the numbers you supply without inventing any of its own.
They cover the whole commission loop: reading a request, taking measurements, cutting a pattern, choosing fabric, assembling the garment, checking quality, adding accessories, earning money and troubleshooting a failure. Each guide teaches a method rather than publishing an unverified number.
The confirmed parts come from the Steam store listing and the developer’s own announcements. Anything taken from a player write-up is labelled as community-reported and dated, and a value that cannot be traced to a source is described as unknown instead of estimated.
Start with the beginner guide for the whole loop in order, then read the commissions guide because every other decision depends on the budget and attribute limits a request names. Measurements and pattern cutting follow once you are building regularly.
Because no dated source publishes them. A guessed cost sends a player into a commission with the wrong plan, so the guides teach you to read the value from your own screen and write it down instead. The source register lists what has actually been checked.
They are linked, named and dated so you can read the original method yourself. They are never restated as game rules, and where a community formula is used as an example it is explicitly described as a player estimate.
Each guide carries its own update date. Guides are revised when an official announcement changes the loop, when a record is verified, or when a community claim is confirmed or disproved. The current check date is September 28, 2026.
